vampirelowell asked: Hello, great job on the Final Fantasy poster. But as I was admiring all the characters from all the Final Fantasy games, I noticed that possibly one of the major characters from FFIX was missing, Zidane. Did I miss him somewhere in the poster? Thanks!
Hi there! Hope you don’t mind my answering this publicly, but you’ve brought up a valid question that I’m sure other viewers are wondering.
So, this collaboration has been going on for a few months now and I needed to have it done in order to move on with other life things. Believe it or not, hosting something like this takes a lot of time and attention. Unfortunately, and by no fault of their own of course (life happens), a few artists were unable to meet the deadline so some characters ended up missing in the final line up.
There is good news, however, in that I hope to post a smaller line up of those missing characters like Zidane in the near future. This will give their artists a chance to gain some recognition as well and vicariously be a part of the main lineup. I owe it to them for volunteering their time and energy into this ambitious project of mine, so please stay tuned for that and thank you so much for your interest and support!
I know it’s not my place to lecture anybody I don’t know, especially when I have no idea what their lives are like, but a trend’s been going around that’s kinda bothering me.
"You don’t like/have X thing so I must shame/chastise you because of that" humor is just not a good thing. Like I said, I realize it’s supposed to be a joke, but come on, is that REALLY gonna get people to agree with your opinion?
Unfortunately, I think Reality Shows & current TV Series’ reward mean spirited and entitled behavior, but it’ll come back to bite you in the ass one day.
Respect. Respect diversity. Respect different interests. Life would be soooo boring if we were all the same. There’s a Gray Area in everything.
If you welcome people to something they’re unfamiliar with instead of presumptuously antagonizing them, preeeeetty sure they’ll at least be willing to give it a try. But if it’s not for them, respect that. Everyone’s life experience makes them different, which can be a wonderful thing.
Cut it out!!! There’s likely people out there better than you who are still eager to learn and improve. Sure, you’re probably very talented and admired by your peers and instructors, but that doesn’t give you the right to act superior when you still have a lot to learn and experience. We all have much to learn and should never stop learning.
